Nephrologist & Transplant Physician

Dr Li is a graduate of the University of Sydney's medical program and has completed her clinical training (FRACP, adult nephrology) in 2019, spending time at Westmead, Blacktown, Nepean, Orange and Gosford Hospitals.

 

She is a staff specialist at Westmead Hospital and dedicated towards caring for people with kidney disease and kidney transplants. Other clinical interests include amyloidosis and monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS).

Dr Li is actively involved with mentoring and teaching, this includes both medical students from the Sydney Medical School (University of Sydney) and clinical trainees rotating through renal medicine.

Dr Li completed her PhD and continued on as a post-doctoral research fellow at WIMR. She is a member of the Kidney Injury Group; and a co-lead for the newly established Transplant Genomics Group. Links to studies: https://www.kidneystudies.com.au/ â€‹
